About this Artist: Marie is a retired teacher now living in Otatara, near Invercargill, NZ. Marie enjoys making small domestic ware on the wheel, hand worked candle houses and towers and Raku bird and fish wall plaques. Her main focus is to use the reduction/oxidation effects in Raku to reproduce the beautiful irridescent sheen that is seen on the feathers of many of our native birds.

About this Artist: Troy is a young man who has lived most of his life in Bluff. He is a self taught artist who likes to create through his own vision.

About this Artist: Joy works with water colours but also photographs and some mixed media.
A love of New Zealand scenery, overseas travel and awareness of nature with its vibrant colours, textures and shapes greatly influence her work which is generally classified as contemporary realism, mostly in clear bright colours.
Artistic studies over the years have encompassed dress design and construction, screen printing, photography and water colour painting under the talented tutoring of Kimberly Robinson of California.
Her paintings were popular in West Los Angeles, where she resided and worked for many years, and now also in New Zealand since she returned.

About this Artist: Winsome has been associated and lived in Bluff most of her life. She has been drawing or painting in some form for over 30 years. With encouragement and teaching from Pat Christiansen her mother in law. Winsome has also used oil, watercolor and porcelain painting along with her pen and ink art displayed in the gallery.

About this Artist: Marion came to Bluff several years ago and fell in love with the area. She had learned to work with wire and so began to create unique beautiful necklaces made from wire, glass and shells or gemstones. Marion also enjoys the hands on work involved in creating beautiful art out of dirt and nature's materials found locally and this has become the essence of her work. Marion’s Jewellery can also be seen in the City Gallery, and from time to time in the Invercargill Museum’s gift shop Momento.

About this Artist: Carol has lived in Invercargill all her life and has been involved in many different kinds of craft and arts. Pottery has always been her first love and when the local pottering club reopened five years ago Carol rejoined and is an active member.

About this Artist: Herb was born in Invercargill and attended Southland Technical College where he excelled in art, Technical drawing and sport.
Herb was very fortunate to have art teacher Roy Dickson (Queenstown) who starte hi of on the fundamentals of art in the 50's. Herb use of colour produces superb coastal scenes.
Herb mostly enjoys painting scenes in the Southern areas including Fiordland.
Herb has had success with commissioned work and has also sold works in the Edge of the World Exhibition.

About this Artist: Sue came to Bluff 32 years ago and has always had a keen interest in painting. Her use of mixed media is exceptional and several of her works are displayed in the Lighthouse Gallery. She is an avid beach comber and her supply is augmented by her husband who is an oyster fisherman and often brings home treasures from the sea for her to turn into beatiful art.

About this Artist: Margaret lives in Hampton just a little north of the Moerake Boulders. Margart has been putting prints onto canvas for a number of years and also does personal pictures for people. She also has her own website which can be visited at www.southprints.co.nz

About this Artist: Karen and her husband immigrated to NZ from England in 2006. They fell in love with the views around Bluff and decided to stay. Karen now spends her time photographing and painting her surroundings.
